Our Organic Cacao powder comes from Peru and Ecuador. Our organic farmers cultivate only the richest and tastiest, superior cacao in its native, clean and pristine environment in Latin America. These expert farmers have been trained specifically how to grow and cultivate organic cacao plants without any pesticides, fungicides or chemical fertilizers.

The way it works is like this: cacao beans are removed from the ripened fruit which has the beans and a white pulp inside the fruit. Then the cacao beans are simply removed and separated from the white pulp. The beans are then fermented for 5 days. Once fermented, the cocoa beans are sun dried for another 5 days.
